CDC recommendations we will respect social distancing in the following ways:
– Seating will be arranged to provide at least 6 feet between households.
– If you are feeling ill, it is best for you to stay home and watch the service online.
– There will be no hand-outs or printed materials given.
– Communion:  We plan to use prepackaged elements, that will be distributed as you enter the worship center.
– Children will stay with their families during worship services.
– The use of face masks is encouraged and appreciated. (We will have limited face masks available.)
– Public health:  We encourage you to refrain from hugs, handshakes and other physical contact while at church.
– There will be hand sanitizer available.  Everyone is asked to sanitize their hands when entering the building.
– For now, there will be no Sunday School, Fellowship time, Wednesday night service, nursery, children’s church, coffee bar, etc.
– Offering:  Offering plates will only be held by the Ushers.

Remember, Clean Hands at church.  –  Keeping hands clean through improved hand hygiene is one of the most important steps we can take to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others.

Protect yourself and family  –  Take precautions, limit your risk, and learn more about the virus.  Please don’t rely on social media or the grapevine.  The CDC is the best source for current and reliable information.

I am writing to bring you up to date concerning our church service and the Coronavirus-19.

God calls us to be examples to others.  In Colossians 3:17,  ¹⁷ And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

The Governor for the State of Florida moved to reopen the State of Florida.  However, he excluded three South Florida counties – Palm Beach, Broward and Dade for phase 1 of the re-opening.  We are unsure when our city will open to regular activities or church services in our building.

When will we have services at Taylor Street?  We are using the following phases to guide our reopening:

Phase 1 — places of worship may operate under “strict” physical distancing protocols. No gatherings of 10 or more unless social distancing can be exercised.

Phase 2 — places of worship may operate under “moderate” physical distancing protocols. No groups of 50 or more unless social distancing can be exercised.

Phase 3 — places of worship may operate under “limited” physical distancing protocols

Supporting the work of Hollywood Naz and our witness to the world is made possible by you and your generosity.  As we have moved to online worship services in response to COVID-19, there has been a decrease in our giving.  In addition, to our monthly ‘regular’ expenses, we’ve had additional expenses placed on us in recent weeks, which include cost incurred by moving to an online service format due to Covid-19, improvements and repairs required by our insurance company due to their recent inspection.  Your financial help is needed and greatly appreciated.

I am writing this letter to bring you up to date concerning our church service and the conranvirus-19.

Example to Others  –  During this time of infection and uncertain time, let’s be an example to each other, our community and our nations.  Colossians 3:17 says,

We are The Church and the Body of Christ!  –  It’s our time to shine! The world needs us! Be a light in a dark & scary time. Be a good neighbor.

We will continue to have weekly services, every Sunday.  If you are unable to attend, we understand.  If you are sick, please stay home.  The coffee bar is closed. No coffee, donuts or bagels. During worship, no fellowship time, hugging or handshaking.

Our Current Schedule:
Sundays
– Worship team 9:30 AM
– Worship at 10:30 AM
Wednesday
– We will not gather for Bible Study.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Service Cancelled  –  If we cancel our Sunday service, we will post on Facebook, send an email and send a text message by Friday night.

Devotion at Website  –  If service is cancelled, we will have a short devotional on our church website every Sunday morning.

How Can I help my Church?  –  During this time, let’s continue to be faithful to God and the church.  We still have expenses even when we don’t gather for worship.
